allure idea were a visual kei band, first formed as an unknown band in 1998 by guitarist Yui and drummer Show. They were signed to STORM, a sublabel of Matina.

Formation

allure idea had a unique upbringing. They were first formed in 1998 by guitarist Yui, drummer show, and an unnamed vocalist as an unknown band. Bassist Shizuku joined the band in December 1998, and guitarist Aki would follow later on April 1, 1999. They disbanded after the departure of the vocalist on March 14, 2000. This lineup would be known as "allure idea α".

The remaining lineup would then return in April 2000, as vocalist Kanwa would join the band a month later. Being unnamed since their first formation, "allure idea β" would finally change their name to allure idea, and begin band activities.
